The Search: Seeking 2.0 acres of land in North Texas (Collin/Denton County).
Compliance Target: Property must meet Heavy Industrial (I-2 or I-3) zoning or be eligible for a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for "Automotive Reclamation."
Zoning Requirements: * Minimum 50-foot setback from public right-of-way.
8-foot solid barrier screening/fencing (Natural earth tones per Texas code).
No location within 1,000 feet of downstream lakes or tributaries.
Before a single battery enters the site, we are researching the following "Green" protocols:
TCEQ Notice of Intent (NOI): Filing to operate a "Source-Separated Recycling Facility."
Stormwater Permit (TXR050000): Ensuring zero contaminated runoff from battery storage areas.
Universal Waste Management: Registering as a "Large Quantity Handler" if storage exceeds 11,000 lbs of battery components.
